Wanjiru Gathigi, from Kenya, is a banker, Global Shaper and Change Maker. At 29, she is currently the youngest Branch Business Manager of a Regional Financial Services Provider in East Africa where she is responsible for business development and origination across a portfolio of sectors and business lines. In her career exploits spanning seven plus years, she has acquired skills in relationship management, project and operations management, quality assurance as well as strategy mapping and implementation. Wanjiru offers her expertise through mentorship and knowledge sharing with a focus on entrepreneurial capacity development. She believes in enhancing entrepreneurs’ skills and knowledge in a bid to alter the SME landscape and highlight success stories across the continent. She serves as the Deputy Curator and Head of the Entrepreneurship pillar for The World Economic Forum Global Shapers Nairobi Hub. Wanjiru is passionate about volunteering her skills and expertise to assist young and aspiring entrepreneurs develop much needed skills and insights to transform their startups into high potential businesses ventures.
