William Ssendagire is an independent consultant and founder of AGRO-SUPPORT Services, which offers services in the areas of capacity building in farm and environmental project management, agricultural extension service delivery, agro-input sourcing and supply, including commercial stocks.
Before his work in consulting, William worked in several management positions in the promotion of integrated livestock farming, networking with partners for program support and implementation, coordination of capacity building, supervision, coaching and mentoring of line staff and field extension workers. He has participated in several local and international conferences in which he has written and presented papers on biogas technology and rural African poverty eradication.
William is an animal scientist and holds a degree in Animal Production Technology and Management from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. In addition, he has earned certifications in the fields of Dairy Science and Technology (Bukalasa National Agricultural College), Biogas technology (Africa Biogas Partnership Programme), Participatory Rural Appraisal (Egerton University), project design and proposal writing, supervisory skills enhancement, and enterprise development and management (all from Heifer Project International).
William is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree, online from the Atlantic International University, Honolulu, Hawaii. He has provided consultancy services on the establishment of a Biogas power system for Brick to Housing Pioneer Women project by Olive Okware, one of the AEA winning businesses in 2015 from Uganda.
