Working in the US retail food space, Theresa is very aware of how to grow brands in highly competitive spaces. Today, she is CEO of her family business, founded in 1986. Theresa has led her company, Van’s Kitchen, to continuous growth through economic challenges in a highly regulated industry.

With 30 years of experience at the helm at Van’s Kitchen, Theresa not only has perfected the egg roll, which her company produces millions of each week, but also her trade as a leader and CEO of her company.

Born in Vietnam and raised in Texas, Theresa earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration at the University of North Texas. She joined the family business for “just six months” and has stayed 30 years because “I love being an entrepreneur and running my own business. And I want to help others learn how to scale their small businesses to benefit not only their families but to create jobs and improve lives.”
