Robert Parkinson, British entrepreneur and business advisor, manages projects through “Connect to Grow”, facilitating partnerships between Asian and African businesses in the health and agricultural fields.

Robert acquired his first business over forty years ago, tripled its turnover and sold it within two years. Following various other similarly interesting ventures, he started a wholesale business in 1980 and increased its turnover to over £1 million in less than five years.

In 1987, Robert started as a Business Advisor with the Government Small Firms Service and became a founder and fellow of what is now the Institute of Consulting.

In 1998, he was part of the MBO/MBI of Mechan Controls as company Secretary/Executive Director, taking the business public in 2003.
