Rania Missoumi understands emerging markets and what it takes for entrepreneurs to succeed.

Rania is a an entrepreneur who co-founded Port Partners, an advisory firm based in Dubai and New York City that designs and implements strategies for companies working between the US and Middle East & North Africa.

Prior to Port Partners, Rania was on the investor side of the equation. In Dubai, she was Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development at TECOM focused on creating environments to support entrepreneur’s growth at all business stages. Rania has first-hand experience with what works – or not – for startup companies to launch and grow. Her advice to entrepreneurs is based on a global understanding of the barriers that entrepreneurs must overcome to succeed. Before TECOM, Rania was a Senior Manager with GEMS Education, the largest global provider of K-12 private education.

Rania holds two advanced degrees from Columbia University: a Master’s in Public Health and a second Masters in Business Administration.
