Msafiri N. Chagama is a Business Development & Management Trainer and Consultant. He is the founder and executive director of Support for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Msafir has over 27 years of professional experience as a researcher, industrial/production economist, marketing manager, CEO, and consultant. He has wide experience in small business development, management, promotion and marketing, and is a certified trainer for Ready for Finance and Investment Process, a SEED/BiD Network Training Program to support entrepreneurs from emerging markets.
Msafiri holds a degree in Economics, a post- graduate diploma in Marketing Management & Physical Distribution and in Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development. He has specialized training in Finance, Credit & Risk Analysis, Marketing, Management, BDS products development and business diagnostics. He has core competencies in many of the SMEs business development services (BDS) components and offers considerable experience in SMEs consulting, counseling, management training design & facilitation, development & carrying-out business health checks and diagnosis, project feasibility studies, strategic planning, financial planning, process improvement and organization design.

Msafiri has extensive experiences in business planning competitions, both as a judge and a coordinator.
