Maryanne Muriuki is currently a part time Lecturer at Kenyatta University in the department of Electrical Engineering. She teaches Machine design to Biomedical Engineering students and volunteers at the Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Center.
She is also a co-founder and Director at RitePak (K) Ltd, a plant that deals in the manufacture of Styrofoam and has been in operation since 2014.
Prior to joining RitePak, she worked at Cambridge Polymer Group as a Research Associate & Quality Auditor, where she designed and tested medical devices. She also worked at Ethicon, A Johnson and Johnson Company, in both the Research and Operations department as an engineer.
She received her graduate (Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering) and undergraduate (Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering) degrees at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ USA.
