Business Leader in Cameroon, Marie-Paule is Co-Founder and CEO of Vatis Travel Industry Services (VATIS), pioneering the first independent Travel Agencies network in the Central Africa Region (CEMAC). Prior to that, in the media communication sector, Marie-Paule led the prominent MW-DDB Group first, as the Group Chief Operating Officer, then, as Chief Executive Officer for West and Central Africa.

Thanks to her commitment and full involvement in the Cameroon Tourism and Hospitality sector, she was elected National Chairwoman of the Board of Cameroon Inter-Professional Tourism Organisation (CITO).

Marie-Paule’s unwavering dedication and firm belief in women entrepreneurship made her to be the Co-founder of the Cameroon Chapter, and Vice President of AWEP (African Women Entrepreneurship Program), a program developed with the support of the US State Department.

Marie-Paule is passionately committed to promoting women’s entrepreneurship in general, and management training in particular. One of the causes she devotes to is the economic empowerment of rural women through mentoring. In addition to her current duties, Marie-Paule sits on the board of directors of several professional and civic organizations.

Marie-Paule graduated with a MBA from Babson College, Olin business school (MA.USA). Her working experience, in Asia (Taj Hotels and Resorts, India), Europe, America (Dunkin’ Donuts), and Africa gave her a strong multiculturalism exposure.
