Joseph Thornton, American, is a freelance investor living in Rwanda. As Director of 4G Capital, he is a pioneer in unsecured micro-lending in Rwanda and Kenya.

Joseph currently invests and advises in several companies in Rwanda and Kenya. He is a volunteer with Inkomoko, Rwandan Development Volunteer, and Gain Life in Boston. A graduate of Yale University, Joseph worked at Bain Capital and Highfields Capital monitoring investments in the industrial, energy, mining, technology and healthcare sectors.
