Albert Muragijimana is the co-founder Wilson Tours, a company that specializes in the promotion of domestic tourism in Rwanda. He authored “Rwanda Nziza” (Beautiful Rwanda), a collection of books that describe the beauty of Rwanda to promote the tourism sector. Albert has over five years of experience in education and businesses and earned a Bachelor’s degree of Education in Entrepreneurship. As a development professional, he has diverse experience in business development, education and youth empowerment.
Previously, he served as a Workforce Readiness Professional for the USAID sponsored program in Rwanda locally known as Twiyubake, where he worked as capacity building and trainer on the Community Finance Initiative, Savings with Education, Career planning and work readiness, business and entrepreneurship. He served also volunteered as a business mentor for Inkomoko Entrepreneur Development and worked as Entrepreneurship teacher for four years in Rwanda.
Albert is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellowship alumnus, the flagship program of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). A merit based program attended by young people with proven record of leadership and accomplishment in public service, business and entrepreneurship, or civic engagement. During this program, he completed a six-week intensive professional development business and entrepreneurship institute at Cambridge College, Massachusetts in the USA.
