Gilbert Ewehmeh is a social entrepreneur, business consultant, and founder and CEO of YES Cameroon one of the leading non-profit organizations that promote and support start-ups and entrepreneurs in Cameroon. He has initiated many entrepreneurship programs supported by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the United States Embassy, the British High Commission, Plan International, and a host of businesses and organizations. With Yes Cameroon, he has organized and facilitated numerous capacity building trainings on entrepreneurial leadership, business creation, and financial education with focus on financial inclusion. He has trained, mentored and coached some 1000 startups and young entrepreneurs in Cameroon. Gilbert is passionate about changing the mentality of young people from “how do I get a job to how do I create 10 jobs”.
Gilbert is the author of the book “Entrepreneurship, the Engine for Job and Wealth Creation” prefaced by Robert P. Jackson, former U.S Ambassador to Cameroon.
