Fred Ishugah

Fred Ishugah is an energy engineer by profession. In Kenya, he is a teacher and researcher at Kenyatta University, where he also pursues his PhD. He works as a professional mentor at Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Centre. Mr. Ishugah is among six appointed members of the journal committee in the School of Engineering and Technology as well as a reviewer in several top peer review journals in the field of energy.

Mr. Ishugah has been involved in different energy projects including working as an Assistant Project Manager in Solar Decathlon-China on a Shanghai Jiao Tong University team. He worked as a Lead Member in conducting a survey on Renewable Energy cooperation between China and Africa in 2012. In 2010, he worked as a Technical Consultant in Biogas Energy at Umande Trust in Kenya. Prior to 2010, he was involved with Solarmart East Africa, and as a project manager with Terra Nuova East Africa in Collaboration with AMREF and European Union in Kenya.

Mr. Ishugah received his BSc. Degree in Energy Engineering from Kenyatta University (Kenya) in 2009, and has MSc. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermal Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China).
