Ashni Mohnot

As a Senior Partner and Head of Undergraduate Services at OnCourse, Ashni Mohnot is actively involved with new product development, business development, and strategy. She has extensive experience in education and social entrepreneurship. She was Director of Education at Stanford’s Martin Luther King Institute for four years and also counseled student applicants at the Stanford Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Ashni also founded Enzi, a social enterprise that developed financing solutions for vocational education students in India who could not afford loan collateral and formerly pioneered income-share agreements in the US as financing alternatives to traditional education loans. She is an Echoing Green fellow alumnus, UnLtd. India fellow alumnus, World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Shaper and former Curator of the WEF Mumbai hub.

Ashni Mohnot has been recognized in media such as The Economist, Forbes, and CNBC for her work on Enzi and counts the opportunity to represent Enzi and Global Shapers at WEF Davos among her incredible life experiences. Having judged and mentored for several international business plan competitions including Startup Chile, she is excited about being a part of the African Entrepreneurship Award which connects investors to entrepreneurs by offering mentoring.

She graduated from Stanford University, where she studied Human Biology and English, followed by a Masters in International Education. She is also an avid writer – she used to blog for PopTech and loves writing fiction.
